The National Assembly's News Flash (Issue No. 024, August 2025) records the Mapatizya MP commissioning 'a maternity annex at Mapatizya Rural Health Centre, in Mbwiko Ward'. The council's May 2024 minutes show the original maternity-wing contract (2022 CDF, K980,560.75, Bakasa Construction and Mining Limited) was under termination proceedings, so that year and amount are not carried to the commissioned annex.
