From the council's Plans and Works Committee minutes of 15 May 2024 (PWD/608/05/24): tendered at a contract sum of K950,475.00 under the 2023 CDF; the contractor had reached wall plate level awaiting roofing. The council's minutes of 27 March 2025 (PWD/942/03/25) report the original contract was terminated and the completion works (Phase I) re-awarded to Grerlin Building Solutions at K459,971.00, signed 5 February 2025 with handover expected 24 May 2025; Phase II works and the water reticulation system were funded under the CDF 2025 allocation. Works were ongoing at that date, so the project stays ongoing here; a post-handover official completion statement has not been found.
